Proximity
Related items should be grouped together.

Alignment
Everything on a page should be visually connected to something else on the page.

Repetition
Design elements should be repeated throughout the entire piece.

Contrast
If two items aren't the same, make them very different.

Typography
Be consistent in the use of font and font sizes throughout the piece.
